Overtures was the premiere concert of Luminaire Orchestra and took place at Cadogan Hall on Monday 2nd November. Simply titled OVERTURE, it showcased 12 of the greatest Overtures ever written from different musicals including My Fair Lady, South Pacific, Gypsy, Candide, The Light in the Piazza. As well as these classics, it will also premiered the Overture from new musical The Danish Girl.
The premiere concert was compered by Broadcaster Charlene White. The concert included a handful of songs sung by Billy Nevers, Danielle Fiamanya, Millie O’Connell, Julian Ovenden & Laura Pitt Pulford.
